Brittany’s Favourite Things

Gosh I can’t even think. Sure most kids have one favourite thing but I have lots of favourite things. So I’m going to tell you a few of my favourite things in each category and giving you a reason why they are my favourite.

My Favourite Animals

Pets

• Ginger Cats: They have beautiful designs of fur on their pelts
• Hamsters: They are small, fuzzy and cute
• Golden Retrievers: they have beautiful golden silk fur

Birds

I love all birds but I really like penguins.

Wild Animals

This one is a little bit harder I love all animals known to man. There is so many animals in the world it’s just hard to pick only one.

My Favourite Ice-Cream

I only have one answer for that one, Mint Chocolate Chip Ice-Cream. It is my absolute favourite, with mint ice-cream and chocolate chips added in to it. Talk about a tasty treat.

My Favourite Series or Book

Warriors is diffently my favourite series. My favourite book from the series is book 1 In To Wild. That’s when a house cat comes to the forest to become a warrior. It’s seriously the best book I ever read.

Favourite Year Round Hobbies

Spring, Summer and Fall: Bike riding or walking in the evening, reading and blogging

Winter: All I have to do is find a bit of a steep hill and go sledding, reading and blogging

Those are all my favourite things, from animals to hobbies I have a whole whack of favourite things.

My Dad

Dad is my hero because he cares about the neighbourhood, animals in my house and people. I got two stories about lives in the neighbourhood.

Story #1

On a beautiful Saturday morning I was in my house making Easter table decorations. Ever half hour the bus comes around, but it comes around so fast we thought something or someone will get hit. Any way the bus came around and the neighbour’s dog always comes to visit us when we come home. The bus comes around, I hear a whack, then a yelp, and then barking a small dog. I said oh no. My Dad came running out to see if it’s OK. Let’s thank the world that the dog is not dead.

Story #2

A day after I got Stella ( My New Hamster) She got her head stuck and almost died. When My Dad came home from his motorbike ride I was almost crying. Stella got her head stuck in a tube that leads to her wheel. I just touched her to see if she was OK and she was whimpering (crying). My Dad came in quickly, took the wheel out of it’s spot and saved her life. Each of her pouches had three big peices of food.

He cares about everything and everyone. That is why he is my hero. 

“Dad may I please get a hamster on Sunday”

Ever since grade 3 I wanted to get a new hamster. Finally on April 21, 2009, I got a cute little hamster and here is my story.

For the past week there was an chinchilla looking for a new home. When I heard that I kept on asking my parents. I went into my room and I realized my room was not big enough for two 3 feet cages because they are bigger than a guinea pig.

Here is in order, how big the domestic rodents are, from small to big.

1. Hamster
2. Guinea Pig
3. Chinchilla
4. Rabbit
5. Ferret

When my parents came home April 21th I asked my parents if I can get a hamster.  That night my parents went for a drive and came home with a box from Petland. I almost screamed. It was a hamster. If it was a boy I will call him Russel. but it’s a girl and her name is Stella and she is active, cute and funny.

Everyone has things that make them happy. Here are my six things that make me happy.

1. Mint Chocolate Ice Capp Supreme from Tim Hortons, On a hot Summer day this is the best drink to have. This drink is awesome.
2. My favourite online game, Warriors: The New Prophecy, I won this game once.
3. Cats, their really cute and fuzzy. Sometimes I think their warrior cats.
4. All my friends( Catie, Rebecca, Brianne, Chaeyoon and Chelsea). Their great to talk to and just hang out.
5. Baking, every sunday I wake up early and start making breakfast. Or I like to make cakes, pies and cupcakes.
6. And last and not least just having fun, and relaxing, watching a movie or reading.

This is a special week for my friends and my classmates!

As you know friendship week just ended. I have lots of friends in division 16. So here are all my friends. I’m going to tell you a little thing about each of them.

Brianne

Brianne loves to cook. Cooking is one of her favourite things. Here are some of the recipes she on her blog.

• Onion Rings: You’ve tried them at A&W but you’ve never tried them like this.
• The Extra Cheesy After School Grilled Cheese: You’ve tried it with one cheese slice but have you tried with three cheese slices.
• Fruity Smoothie: You’ve tried it at Starbucks and Serious Coffee but this smoothie is delicious.
• Hashbrowns: You’ve tried them at restaurants but they’re awesome.

That’s all the recipes on her blog and are all really good.

Chaeyoon

Chaeyoon comes from Korea and her favourite comic book is Maple Story. She is also a awesome artist. Check out this drawing she drew. That’s all I can say. But she also likes drama. We’re doing the talent show together.

Catie

Catie is a Guitar Hero Master. She’s also a good drawer like Chaeyoon. She is awesome at Soccer too.

I got a lot of other friends that go to different schools. They are really nice too.

One night when I went to bed I was thinking about cats. I just finished reading Warriors: The Darkest Hour. But when I was in bed I transformed into a cat that can speack English, write, and do anything that humans can do.

When I was a baby ,Heidi was just a kitten. She is a tortoiseshell and white. You’ve heard of that some cats are either indoor or outdoor cats ? Well, my cat is an outdoor cat. When I lived in a trailer at Kitty Coleman she had kittens. There were 2 girls and 1 boy. 1 girl was black and white named Bandit. The other girl was black named Runt. And last and not least the boy was a orange tabby named Rusty. We had to take the 2 girls to the S.P.C.A but sadly Rusty got ran over when I moved to town.

For Blog Action Day I’m going to talk about the homeless. You see all the rich and popular people that don’t give a care about the poor such as movie stars. But as you know in the northern hemisphere we hold food hamper fundraisers that are brought to the poor. There’s another way you can help. If there’s anything in your home that you don’t use but still good you can give it to one of the fundraisers.
