In the Comox Valley there is lots of fun and games and I’m going to give you a tour around town.

Love to read and love books?  Well, let’s go to the Public Library.  You will find it down town Courtenay.  There you can get all sorts of books from Biography to Humor and all in between.  For example, this summer I was looking for a book and me and my mom found it at the library.  So Cool.

The next place I’m going to show you is a historical landmark. The landmark is actually a hotel about 130 years old WOW. Last Summer it got torn down because it was so old.

Lots of shops, tons of shops in Down Town Courtenay. Here, there are lots of shops and restaurants. Our favourite shop is Hot Chocolates  . . . YUM. (OK, I just made myself hungry.)  In the shop there is all your favourites.  They even have cake, ice-cream and hot chocolate.  That’s right they even have drinks.

That’s just one the great food places.  Try Dairy Queen . . . they have awesome ice-cream.  My favourite is Mint Oreo Blizzard that’s because my favourite cookies are Oreo.  What a minute . . .  MOM!!! CAN I GO TO DAIRY QUEEN??? OK, sorry about that.  Anyway, you should go there . . . IT ROCKS.

 

Up, up, up.  We’re at the top of Mount Washington, our mountain resort. 

At Mount Washington, you can go there all year round.  In the winter, you can go snowboarding, tubing and all sorts of activities.  In the summer, you can go on chair lifts.  It’s so cool.  It’s like a slow roller coaster . . . WEEEE YAH. There’s lots of fun activities, like mountain biking and hiking. You should go there.  It’s so cool and cold.  IT’S FREEZING.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes, the Comox Valley is a beautiful place.  It is so beautiful, in fact, it even has a lake in Cumberland.  Cumberland is a village a little bit away from Courtenay.  It is a very peaceful village with lots of olden time buildings.  It even has it’s own Chinatown.  Too cool.
